Summer Delays Getting to Our Office

Summer Delays Getting to Our Office

Over the course of the summer, you may experience delays in getting to our office.

The former Bristol Myers Squibb site in Hopewell Township, east of Pennington Borough is currently being developed by BeiGene pharmaceutical company with the construction of new labs. In order to complete these structures BeiGene has 235 prefabricated modules arriving at the Philadelphia port to be delivered to the site via supersized transports.

The Pennington Borough Council and the Mayor have been vehemently objecting to Pennington being the route of these trucks but were unsuccessful in their attempts to compromise. (If you’d like to learn more about this traffic nightmare, here is a letter from the Mayor to the Pennington Residents.)

In any event, these supersized transports will come through Pennington Borough via Route 31 to North Main Street to East Delaware every week day from June 5th to August 25th between 9AM – 11:30 AM, with alternate time slots including 1pm-3pm or 6pm – 8pm. The result this first week has been standstill traffic from the Route 31 circle outside of the borough, all of the way north to Route 518.

While we do offer virtual visits via Zoom, we know sometimes an in-office meeting is required (or preferred). We’ll do our part in ensuring you stay informed on this current situation. We also ask that you reserve a little extra time in your travel to our office so we can continue to keep things to schedule.

You may want to consider coming into our office from north/west via Scotch Road and/or Pennington Harbourton Road (bypassing Route 31 as much as possible).

Please feel free to reach out to us with any specific questions, otherwise, I hope you and your loved ones have a great summer and are staying healthy!
